Santa came! I had an amazing Christmas and I hope you did as well. I got less books (which is actually good, I don't want to get the same ones I already own or ones I dislike) but I did get money to get books! Which, of course, I did.
Besides all three books from Freebie Friday post (it was a good haul this week) I got a few other freebies.
Forever Fifteen by Kimberly Steele and Daisy Madigan's Paradise by
Suzy Turner, two completely random books I stumbled upon searching for Freebie Friday books. You can check whether they're still free on Amazon.com.
Blood Will Tell by Samantha Young and Deep Blue Secret by Christie Anderson, two other random Freebies I came across while looking for books to buy. I liked the covers so I took them.
Stardust by Neil Gaiman is the one I wanted the most, I adored the movie (and I didn't even know it's a book!) so I am very much looking forward to reading this one. The movie was so sweet but I'm sure the book will be even better. Touching the Surface by Kimberly Sabatini is one I've read so much about and finally gave in. I decided to give it a chance to see what the fuss is all about.
Beastly and Bewitching both by Alex Flinn. I love the covers and the synopsis for each is very compelling. I adore paranormal and fairy tale books, I'm sure I will enjoy these a lot.
The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan, which conclude my Riordan collection! I am so excited to have these books. I love mythology and everyone is so excited about his books I am as well even though I haven't read one yet! I have to hurry up because second Percy Jackson movie is coming out soon!
And to top it all I got this interesting looking book in the mail (thanks, Mal!) that looked pretty fun when I quickly flipped through it. It's The Average American Male by Chad Kultgen.

What did Santa bring you?

Go Beastly! Go Beastly! go, go, go Beastly! Honestly, trust me you have got to read that novel! I let it collect dust on my shelves forever and the n picked it up and loved it sooo much! It's a great fairytale :)
ReplyDeleteTouching the Surface is on my TBR list, yay! I haven't read any of these, unfortunately, so I cannot recommend any of them, but I did watch the movie vers of Beastly and thought it was okay. A. Pettyfer is a gorgeous man though and no harm in envisioning him as the male lead while reading the book;) HAPPPY READING!

These are almost all new to me. I have Beastly, but haven't read it yet. You definitely have some beautiful covers there! I hope you enjoy your books this week :)
ReplyDeleteMost of these books I haven't heard of, but they all sound great! I'm most interested in Blood of Ankh, which sounds like Egyptian mythology. (Maybe, maybe not?) I've read a few of Alex Flinn's book and definitely hope that you enjoy them. As for Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles, I definitely have some catching up to do. :P
