Goodreads synopsis
Amy and Elder have finally left the oppressive walls of the spaceship Godspeed behind. They're ready to start life afresh--to build a home--on Centauri-Earth, the planet that Amy has traveled 25 trillion miles across the universe to experience.
But this new Earth isn't the paradise Amy had been hoping for. There are giant pterodactyl-like birds, purple flowers with mind-numbing toxins, and mysterious, unexplained ruins that hold more secrets than their stone walls first let on. The biggest secret of all? Godspeed's former passengers aren't alone on this planet. And if they're going to stay, they'll have to fight.
Amy and Elder must race to discover who--or what--else is out there if they are to have any hope of saving their struggling colony and building a future together. They will have to look inward to the very core of what makes them human on this, their most harrowing journey yet. Because if the colony collapses? Then everything they have sacrificed--friends, family, life on Earth--will have been for nothing.

Review (might contain SPOILERS!)
The book literally started off with a bang! The moment it started, there was some action and suspense going on and I loved it so much. It's how books need to start, so they can pull you in instantly. I knew I was going to love this book because first two and the short novella were all really amazing.
I was so excited, they finally landed! I was expecting so many new things because of that, after all, it is a new planet with only two thirds of Godspeed and all the frozens were reanimated. I was really happy that Amy got her parents back, I found myself wishing for them in 'tough' times of the first two books as well.
The book had it all: aliens, new planet, space, dinosaurs, "regular" humans... It was awesome! Everything was chaotic, unknown, there was fear and confusion I felt myself. It was really exciting to read, even though I felt really bad for Elder almost all the time. The guy deserved some break!
Everything was very well thought through and described in just enough detail to form a nice picture in my head. The way the shipborns acted on the new planet is so logical and made total sense, even though it was a little frustrating to read. Once again Revis thought about everything while writing this book.
I was a little disappointed in the love story in the series. I didn't mention it before because I kept hoping it will improve but... I felt like Elder just snapped in love with Amy. I know she was pretty and interesting to him but he fell for her while she was still frozen and he did not even know her. I felt maybe it will develop slowly because Amy did not return her feelings, but it turned out it was just because "she didn't have a choice". I found that a little weird. Then book two was a bit less focused on this and I did not mind at all, but in book three there was another smack of love feelings without any prior development, just instant love (Just pour some water! Pun maybe intended!). I didn't really feel it, I felt Amy had more connection with Chris to be honest.
The book was so chaotic, full of new and unexpected twists and turns and the always present suspense, the only thing missing was creepy music while I read. It was amazing! My heart pumped like crazy a couple of times which rarely happens to me while reading a book.
And then... ALIENS! And a fight! That part was so amazing, I was looking forward to any real action in the book and I was nearly at 80 % when big things started happening. So many new revelations, new secrets, new crap on top of all the bad that's been going on... I was on edge the entire time but I loved every minute of it. I actually got a bit scared.
I was very skeptical about this book at first, I expected so much from it and I was a bit disappointed how very little happened. Okay, people died, unexplained things happened, dinos and whatnot came, but it was all still so... meh. I was very glad to discover that the last quarter of the book will make up for all of that. So many things happened all at once it was crazy, I barely followed it all!
I still think the world of Godspeed was better, more dynamic and colorful. Maybe it's because it was rounded up as a whole, with buildings and a working system. The planet was new for the characters, they hardly moved around, there was barely any infrastructure (at least at the beginning). I felt a bit bland.
All in all I absolutely loved the book. Revis took me on a wild ride on which I cursed and laughed and even cried a little but she brought me back on solid ground safely. This book is just as amazing as the first two and I recommend the series to anyone who loves space and dystopia.
"What is in our hearts is real whether we name it or let it exist only in darkness or silence."

"Who are the real monsters?"

"We all die someday. Maybe the only thing that makes that fact bearable
is the idea that death is the only way we can return to the stars."
