Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013
As you may have seen, my reading list for 2013 is looooooooong, far longer than I can manage and far far longer than 10 books.
So I decided to not do Top 10 books but rather Top 10 series. And here they are:
I can't wait to finish my current read an plunge into dystopia once again, starting with the series I have heard so much about. I cannot wait for this!
People love those books and I really want to see why. I have heard so many good things about the series I am very much looking forward to reading it.
3. Delirium series by Lauren Oliver
Another series people have been recommending to me, and since I love dystopia novels with amazing synopses I cannot wait for the series either.
4. Legend series by Marie Lu
I love the covers of these books, I love the sound of the story, I've read many many great reviews and I look forward top reading the series a lot.
These books have been on my radar for a long time now as well as on my wishlist and I really hope to get them soon so I can start devouring them.
These books have been such a hit I cannot wait to get them and start them, I really really like the synopses of them all.
The series has been on my wishlist for a long time, the longest of the bunch, probably, and I still don't own book one. I have to fix that asap!
I so adored Vampire Academy I seriously cannot wait to start Bloodlines as well. I have so many must-reads I wish I could read more than 1 book at the same time!
These books have been on my wishlist forever! I cannot believe I am finally getting to them, they just never pulled me in until I saw many great reviews.
10. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan
I have to read at least two of these before the second movie comes out and because they combine all of my favorite things, I cannot wait to start them!
But of course I am eagerly awaiting many more books, especially Divergent #3! For more books see my reading pile 2013 post.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This weekly meme is from The Broke and the Bookish.
Happy New Year Ula! :) I also hope to read Across the Universe and Mara Dyer this year. And YAY for you reading Delirium, Percy Jackson, UTNS, Shatter Me AND Cinder! I loved them all <3
ReplyDeleteI need to read the Mara Dyer series this year too! Same for Graceling. And I am determined to start the Shatter Me series this year as well! Great list!
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten
I almost added Graceling to mine! And A MIllion Suns is on mine as well. Great list :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten!
I started the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer yesterday, so it looks like that'll be my first read of 2013. I just read Delirium and Cinder within the last two weeks and loved them both, so hope you enjoy! And Shatter Me is on my TBR soon list as well--in fact I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived yesterday, and it's taking all the self-control I have to not start it right away.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Great list, the Percy Jackson series is a lot of fun. I also hope to get around to Across the Universe sometime this year (the covers are pretty xD)
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT for this week =)
I love Under the Never Sky and Delirium. Both are fantastic. The rest I still need to read as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for stopping by my STS.

Great list! The first book in the Mara Dyer series was AWESOME...I'm going to read the second one soon! I read Shatter Me, I'm not as into it as others, but enough that I will finish up the series. Most of the rest of the series are ones that I want to start this year, too...

Ok you absolutely need to read Bloodlines! Like, now :) They're such good books! I'm currently reading the evolution of mara dyer and loving it- it's even better than the first book, I think. Under the never sky and graceling were also really good! You're going to be pretty busy this year reading all these series ;) But in a good way of course!
ReplyDeleteI have Delirium, Under the Never Sky and Bloodlines on my list too!
ReplyDeleteI've read Percy Jackson and it was great! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I also have Shatter Me and Across the Univers in myTBR Pile.
I just noticed we have the same interests :) Off to follow you now :))
You've got some incredible titles on your list! I need to start Percy Jackson among a few others on the second half of your list.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Great list! These series are amazing! I haven't read all of them yet, but I can't wait to! Legend is first on the list!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2013!
My TTT
Oh, yes: Graceling! I completely forgot about this book and series -- I'd love to read it. I hope you enjoy Marie Lu's Legend! It had me hanging on the edge of my seat near the end, so to speak, like a suspenseful action movie. (:
ReplyDeleteBlargh! You list so many good series here! Some I've read and would love to through the book at you telling you to read it now. Others I haven't read yet and have multiple people calling me crazy for not reading yet. Hope you have lots of time for reading this year!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my Top Ten.
So many amazing series! I love almost all of them especially the Lunar Chronicles, Legend, Shatter Me, and Bloodlines.
ReplyDeleteThe Percy Jackson series happens to be one of my favorites. A lot of the titles are duplicated on TBR list so looks like we will be reading a lot of the same books. :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to read the Mara Dyer series as well! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteSuffice it to say that I need to read all of the series you have here and I was going to it series wise but it got too daunting and scary so I couldn't.
ReplyDeleteMy priority is definitely the Delirium series.
Here's my Top Ten Tuesday!

I don't think you can really go wrong with any of these! I need to check out the Mara Dyer books and Legend as well.

I can happily endorse a bunch of these series! I've read (and really liked) Graceling + Fire, as well as Shatter Me. But, more importantly, I've LOVED Percy Jackson + The Lunar Chronicles!
ReplyDeleteWow! I need to read all of these too, except that I've read the first two books in the Graceling world (amazing!), the Percy Jackson series and I'm caught up in the Across the Universe series (until later this month :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you can read them all and thanks for stopping by!
I'm excited to finish (or mostly finish) all of these series, too. Great list!
ReplyDeleteJenny @ Book Sojourner
Started reading Graceling a few days back and Kristin Cashore's writing is great. I'm juggling Graceling and Cassandra Clare's City of Bones at the moment, and would love to finally get to finish Divergent :)
