Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013

As you may have seen, my reading list for 2013 is looooooooong, far longer than I can manage and far far longer than 10 books.
So I decided to not do Top 10 books but rather Top 10 series. And here they are:

Another series people have been recommending to me, and since I love dystopia novels with amazing synopses I cannot wait for the series either.

These books have been such a hit I cannot wait to get them and start them, I really really like the synopses of them all.

I have to read at least two of these before the second movie comes out and because they combine all of my favorite things, I cannot wait to start them!

But of course I am eagerly awaiting many more books, especially Divergent #3! For more books see my reading pile 2013 post.

  4. I started the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer yesterday, so it looks like that'll be my first read of 2013. I just read Delirium and Cinder within the last two weeks and loved them both, so hope you enjoy! And Shatter Me is on my TBR soon list as well--in fact I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived yesterday, and it's taking all the self-control I have to not start it right away.

  7. Great list! The first book in the Mara Dyer series was AWESOME...I'm going to read the second one soon! I read Shatter Me, I'm not as into it as others, but enough that I will finish up the series. Most of the rest of the series are ones that I want to start this year, too...

  8. Ok you absolutely need to read Bloodlines! Like, now :) They're such good books! I'm currently reading the evolution of mara dyer and loving it- it's even better than the first book, I think. Under the never sky and graceling were also really good! You're going to be pretty busy this year reading all these series ;) But in a good way of course!

  12. Oh, yes: Graceling! I completely forgot about this book and series -- I'd love to read it. I hope you enjoy Marie Lu's Legend! It had me hanging on the edge of my seat near the end, so to speak, like a suspenseful action movie. (:

  13. Blargh! You list so many good series here! Some I've read and would love to through the book at you telling you to read it now. Others I haven't read yet and have multiple people calling me crazy for not reading yet. Hope you have lots of time for reading this year!

  15. The Percy Jackson series happens to be one of my favorites. A lot of the titles are duplicated on TBR list so looks like we will be reading a lot of the same books. :)

  17. Suffice it to say that I need to read all of the series you have here and I was going to it series wise but it got too daunting and scary so I couldn't.

My priority is definitely the Delirium series.

  23. Started reading Graceling a few days back and Kristin Cashore's writing is great. I'm juggling Graceling and Cassandra Clare's City of Bones at the moment, and would love to finally get to finish Divergent :)
